WEEK 4: SEPTEMBER 3-4

Dallas at Minnesota

Just so happens me and little Bro will be in MN for our parents 50th Anniversary.......
SWEET!
Anniversaries on the 5th.
We can stop for the game on the 3rd/4th and then head to Northome the next morning.......
Ouch the game could be on the 5th.
And I think it would have to be the 3rd or 4th anyway...
How come?
NFL.com has it listed as only September 3 or 4.
I believe preseason ends on Friday the 4th.

Good eye.

Its almost like my Mom and Dad planned it to happen this way 50 years ago.

lol.
Now THAT's some forward thinking.

50 years huh?
You should see if they want to go to the game.
Get them up on the big screen or something.
No way in hell I get my Dad to leave Northome.
A established homebody of sorts...

I was just coming to this thread to point that out. The 3rd preseason game, which is generally considered to be the most important, and is the one where the starters will see the most time, will be televised, live, nationally. That's very good news to all of us out-of-staters that normally have to rely on the NFL Network re-airings.

Still pisses me off that I pay for the NFL Ticket and can't see Pre-season games.
Something is just not right with that.

While a 6 hour drive isn't that far in the grand scheme of things, it is a bit far to drive to find a sports bar so I can watch a preseason game.

I agree. That makes no sense.

Normally preseason doesn't excite me too much, but this year I'm looking forward to it, mainly because of the QB situation.
That is- if I get them on tv.

He'll only get to tear up their backups though.

Another thing that sucks about Sunday Ticket, besides the price increases, is the fact that I have had a HD digital TV for awhile. I had to pay extra to receive the HD digital channels on DTV. But I had to pay extra again to get games in HD digital on Sunday Ticket. This was despite the fact most of the games were broadcast over the air in HD digital.

I'm going to cancel this year after having it over a decade. I'm fortunate enough to get Vikings broadcast by my local
affiliates anyway.

Penny pinching avoricious jerks.
