I have thought about him quite a bit now that they hvae passed the torch to Baby LJ. I was wondering what was going to happen to him.
I didn't know he was going to be cut. But it would be only a short term option if we took him on. If we drafted a RB, let the other RBs go, and brought in Holmes to run along side the draftee, that might just work. All food for thought.
Not bad idea, BUT i don't think Holmes will sign with a team unless he is going to be the one and only starting back!!! I don't think he wants to be a part of a team that has a running back by committee!!!http://www.myspace.com/pooptin

Re: Preist Holmes
I'm going to have to agree with the majority here and say no. I don't think he's the answer for our team.

Re: Preist Holmes
He is breaking down a bit!!! we need a young guy or someone with a good solid body that can take a pounding over the middle when coming out of the backfield for passes!!

Re: Preist Holmes
you no what priest is a beast i dont care what you say. Yes he gets in a lot of injuries but he is a priemer back. if we can gety him for minimum wage and put him in at the goal line which he knows how to do. it wouyld help us out a lot. Think to yourself how many times were we stoped in the red zone? The Pittsburg game for example that was rediculous. I know for a fact that Priest could have got us in the end zone on most of those drives. There is no way you could argue with that point.
