If we move up to 1, 2, or 3 and do not take Calvin Johnson, we messed up.

    please no.
with speilman's track record he shouldnt be allowed to be given the benefit of the doubt on any reach .
didn't he give up a number 2 for a.j. feely, gee wizz
Couldn't be that stupid again could he ??? ???
Just to clarify, Feeley was traded for a second round pick, not a number 2 selection.

Russell to me is right there with TJ.
    They both need some polish.
Quinn I think has a better chance of stepping in right away, but Russell has the bigger upside.

That being said, I don't know who I would pick with the #1 slot.
CJ or Thomas would be my pick... toss up.

    CJ...who fills our larger need.
The problem with taking Thomas is that we would have to play him at RT...which is a waste of his talents...and too much of an investment in our OL if we were to take him at #1...now if he were to fall to #7...that's a different story!

I was speaking more in terms if I was in the Raider's position.
Of course if we had the number 1 pick, its CJ hands down.
Man love doesn't describe the size of cucumber I have for this guy.

    true that.
if we move up, we are moving up for 1 guy and that's c.j. at least in the case the we are moving up in the top 3, if he goes i dont have the faintest idea what they are thinking.
my thoughts are move down, as you know.

but anyone saying we are gonna give up almost all our top picks this year to move up and take quinn i think are over-estimating him.
    and underestimating russel.
at least in russels one big game he performed.
quinn has virtually stunk in any game that was considered big.
quinn scares me, i smell a rick mirer and i dont wanna touch him.
might leave a stink i can't remove for years.

the vikings should trade up to take Quinn, He could be the next michael vick.
    Dude, nobody wants Quinn.
Why in the world would we ever do that.
Besides the fact that alot of people think he is overrated, why in the world would you take him and he has noone to throw it to if you got him.
