I have a feeling, our office has already put alot of stock into Childress out of Philly....
I guessing they go that way......

Re: Possible Future Coaches List
Williams or Singeltary
Both are heavy disciplinarians and I am sick of players coaches! What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Re: Possible Future Coaches List
what about Kirk Ferentz, he is a hell of a turn around guy, and he has big league experience.

Re: Possible Future Coaches List
After thinking a little bit, i think it will be Gregg Williams, he has had Smoot in Redskins, and Newman, Pat, Winfield and Cowart in Bills, that might give him the edge..

Re: Possible Future Coaches List
Well it won't be Gregg Williams, http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/WAS/9141154.
According to this article http://www.startribune.com/510/story/159527.html, it says there's a possibility of former Oakland Coach Art Shell. Anyone have some info on him and the likelihood of him becoming coach?

Re: Possible Future Coaches List
This is your man and he is at the top of my list:
Minnesota Vikings
What's the antidote for the four tumultuous seasons of the Mike Tice coaching era? How about the calm, steadying presence of Brad Childress, the longtime Eagles offensive coordinator who is more than ready for his first NFL head coaching shot.
New Vikings owner Zygi Wilf craves stability and someone who can serve as the face of the organization without embarrassing it. Enter Childress, who is cut from the same cloth as Eagles head coach Andy Reid in terms of temperament and a sense of professionalism. Also, if the Vikings decide to stick with Daunte Culpepper at quarterback, Childress's experience developing Donovan McNabb should make for an easy transition to McNabb's fellow Class of '99 member.

Eagles keep Heckert; Childress in Minn.
January 3
Philadelphia Inquirer (registration required): "Heckert's decision did not stop the Vikings from asking for permission to talk to Eagles offensive coordinator Brad Childress about their vacant head coaching job. Childress, in fact, flew to Minnesota yesterday, and the Vikings are expected to be the first of several teams to interview him this week."
http://www.prosportsdaily.com/nfl/nfl.html
It really all does make sense and the fact that he is the first one to be interviewed .... look for Wilf to throw lots of money at him real quick. Especially with Williams locked up in Washington.

Re: Possible Future Coaches List
I'm a Childress supporter just like you MNjamie. He would help to bring back our once league dominate offense.Basically getting him would be like gettin Andy Reid. I hope we get him.
