Re: Possible free agent pickups (footballsfuture.com)

my question is why do tbey say defensive ends are a good fit for minnesota and a receiver? just cause this person thinks that they would fit good into our system? we don't need a defensive end at all our backups are good backups.

    linebackers bring them on baby!!
cornerback. i think we need a good solid backup here; or keep williams.
safety, i want one, draft or FA.
guard/0 tackle, bring them on vikes can sign 3 for all i care whatever works.
we need a good kicker too or keep edinger not too shabby but eh
im not too sure about running back, moore is good and all but he can't get touchdowns much we need someone who can.

other than that i can't think of anything we need for our team except to keep upgrading our backups and develop young guys.
I don t buy Wisconsin cheese.

Childress said that the first thing that needs to be fixed is up fron on both O and D. I know some ar ein love with Udeze and the Eraser, but I think Abraham would be a definite upgrade. Udeze, Eraser, Scott and Johnson can fight it out for the other spot, may the best DE win. Is Johnstone going to be with us next year, is he a FA???

he missed lot's of feild goals, but he is anything but a choke job, what was he, 4-4 on game winners this year?

No way we get a DE in free agency.

We have loads of YOUNG talent that is actually starting to produce. You don't turn your back on that.

You don't need anymore vetran help there either you have Johnstone, one of the best pass rushing DE in the entire NFL.

a DE?? that's about the only position i feel we don't need any more guys, with Udeze,James, scott ( Johnstone maybe?) i think were pretty much settled down there....the #1 guy is obviously steve hutchinson, he's just to good to not try signing....i like archuletta as well, but i wouldnt mind still having cahvous out there...the one i miss in this list is Juilan peterson, if we got him, sign Fonoti, i'd say we have a championship team

I like hutch, and I would not be surpirsed to see the Vikes pursue him pretty hard in free agency...
