I like it! I like it! That's exactly what I want to hear. :cheer:

I hasn't posted on here for a while because... well, honestly there hasn't really been anything to post about. Thanks for the article, b_sandhar_29! I've been waiting to hear this for quite a few days now.

Christian Ponder showing commitment and working out with Harvin and Sidney Rice is great news. That goes the other way too. Sidney wanting to get on page with Ponder might be a good sign that he wants to stay on the team. This makes me VERY happy.

I was hoping that Ponder would workout with Kyle Rudolph too. My dream scenario would be that those two form a "Peyton Manning - Dallas Clark"-duo and that either one of them receives the "Rookie of the Year". Rookies need to stay together.

Oh, and in case you were wondering: Yes, Ponder did receive a copy of Bill Musgrave‘s playbook during his brief contact with the team while the lockout was temporarily suspended. Ponder says he’s been studying the playbook while he flies around the country performing his duties as a first-round draft pick. That’s commitment.
    Good, good!

Well at least he is trying to get work done. Kid does not even have a contract yet.

I was thinking exactly that... shows a lot of committment to excellence... doesn't care about money just winning.. that attitude would take anyone pretty far in life...

What happens if he gets hurt doing so without a contract?

He has had a history of shoulder & elbow injuries dating back to high school & in both his junior & senior year of college.

Don't rookies show up to OTAs? Training Camp is where you hold out if injury becomes a concern... Correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought it was like that? I don't think Ponder is going to get hurt with the same preparation he's been using since he decided to enter the draft... I'm sure its to get to know one another work on chemistry, nothing strenuous...

Hopefully it happens early enough to get Brett into camp.

I don't know to what level he's slinging the ball, just curious as to what happens if he throws his shoulder or elbow out chucking the ball.

How did all his injuries occur before? If he does do something, he's damaged goods before signing a contract.
