Players of value on Day 3

    1) Everson Griffen - USC
    Height: 6'3"
    Weight: 273 lbs.

    Strengths
Griffenís a tough, strong defensive end prospect. Will show good hand use. Has really impressive speed and range for a big man (was a high school running back). Displays very explosive power to knock blockers backwards and to hold up at the point of attack against the run. Has great initial quickness off the ball when rushing the passer.

    Weaknesses
Only has average height and has likely maxed out his frame in terms of bulk. Lacks competitiveness at times and doesnít always play with high intensity. Can be an inconsistent reactor at times and sometimes struggles to break down in space.

    2) Jevan Snead - Ole Miss (QB)
    Height: 6'3"
    Weight: 219 lbs
    Why I like him:
The guy needs time to develop. He doesn't have a lot of experience due to having to sit out a year and leaving early. Based on NFL.com and Cbs. His weaknesses are all correctable. He has the size, the arm and the experience in a pro style offense that all the other Qbs lack. They guy just needs time but when he he could be a better prospect than Bradford. Worthy of a 5th I think.

    http://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/profiles/jevan-snead?id=497133#tabs:tab-analysis

    Strengths
Snead has adequate height and good bulk for the quarterback position. Possesses enough speed to make some plays with his feet. Flashes the arm strength to make big time throws when his feet are set. Has a quick release. Intelligent.

    Weaknesses
Snead is a prospect who needs more seasoning. Struggles with inconsistent spurts of accuracy. Does not do a good enough job taking care of the football and throws too many interceptions. Overall decision making ability needs some polish as does his ability to read coverages and run through progressions.

    3)Bruce Campbell - UM(OT)
    Height: 6'6"
    Weight:314 lbs
Why I like Him: He's athletic LT that can be groomed for a couple of years to take Mac's place. We never will have to hear about a slow footed lineman again lol. They guys is quick and strong. I am concerned about a Brain injury

    http://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/profiles/bruce-campbell?id=496994#tabs:tab-analysis

    Strengths

Campbell possesses a rare combination of size and athleticism for an offensive lineman. Uses hand punch effectively. Excels in pass protection and can handle speed rushers off the edge. Does a good job of sustaining his blocks. Is a competitive performer. Exhibits impressive initial quickness out of his stance in the running game.

    Weaknesses

Durability is a major concern as Campbell has dealt with multiple ailments including a brain issue. Will overextend into blocks and lunge at defenders on occasion. His instincts are questionable, especially in the running game when moving to the second level.

    4)Aaron Hernandez- UF (TE)
    Height: 6'2"
    Weight: 245 lbs.
Why I like him: The league seems to be moving to having a non blocking WR/TE hybrid as the 2nd TE and I think we should follow suit.
The Boys give people fits with Bennett and Witten. Finley played a similar role for the Pack last season and the Skins had success with both Davis and CC on the field at the same time. Adding Hernandez, gives Brett an amazing receiving TE to pair with Shank. I would love to see us go 5 wide with him and Shank involved. Teams will Quiver when we motion PH and run an end around.

    BB PH VS AH SR

    http://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/profiles/aaron-hernandez?id=497244#tabs:tab-analysis

    Strengths

Hernandez has impressive speed and athleticism for the tight end position. Was extremely productive in college, earning first team all-conference recognition. Has very natural ball skills, catches away from his body, can bring in off-target throws and can go up for the jump ball. Great route running ability. Is fluid and creates separation. Productive after the catch.

    Weaknesses
Hernandez lacks the prototypical size we look for in tight ends at the next level. We question his natural strength. Blocking is a major area of concern and may limit him to the H-back role. Isnít strong at the point of attack and wonít consistently move defenders.

    Dwyer.

Would like to take him if he is there in the 6th. or a late 5th.

We simply line up and pound the ball. I love that Dywer can catch down field. He is kinda like a TE.

Re: Players of value on Day 3

All the value today contains of CB, RB, DE and 3-4 OLB's.. plus a little bit of OT

And we need bascily none of that..

I think there is a chance we draft Eric Norwood or Roddrick Muckelroy, both Linebackers..

Al Woods and Cam Thomas can play DT
