Rookie running back Adrian Peterson limped off the field because of a left ankle injury this morning during the Vikings’ first practice. He was taken to a medical trailer, but later returned and was moving around, favoring the ankle.

This is one of the reasons vets hate training camp.
Anyway, hope he is okay.
Hopefully this isn't the first of many Adrian Peterson injuries.
Now is a perfect time to get over the "injury-prone" label
Get it iced and tape it. Then strap it up AP, and get on the field. Seriously I hope it's a minor sprain.
He'll be fine...just as long as it's not a KNEE injury!
I am guessing he will be fine, but he did miss a portion or all of four games in 2005 due to an ankle injury.
