INDIANAPOLIS - Vikings officials weren't exactly forthcoming on the topic, but it's a safe bet that the right tackle position is near the top of the team's wish list for an upgrade....

Thanks for the read my friend.
Couple of problems with a article like this.......
1.
They ruin your day and remind you that Gross and Carey signed.
2.
They never really break down R and L Tackles when they talk about them.
Beatty, Loadholt and Meredith were all LT's.
Why would anyone think they could come in and start at RT in our blocking scheme?
Re: Performance points to need at tackle
really be nice to get a RT and extend Birk-

Well I have seen some thoughts of people who think we could bring in a LT and then move McKinnie to RT - so is that a feasible option or would he want a contract extension for having to learn a new position?
;)

Ya got me there my friend.
Maybe RT isn't that hard.
Birk played it for a spell as well.

I've seen that as well.
Problem for me is then you have both T's learning under fire again.
I for one am tired of watching people learn on the field.

well that's true but as McKinnie is an elite player - as we often hear - then it's not quite like having a rookie out there, but I take your point

Not many have patience for him right now.
I am one of a select few who doesn't blame him for getting thrown to the wolves and for not having anything better on the roster than him.
