Re: Perfect Draft: Minnesota Vikings
I feel good about Harvin's chances of no longer being on our Draft Board.

Would anyone be mad if we traded up our 1st and 3rd to get MacLin or Raji?
I would take 1 of them
I wouldn't like that trade.
Raji is a beast, but we have much more pressing needs than DT at least this year...
And MacLin, while decent, simply isn't worth that much.

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Its basically only giving up your 3rd round pick to move up in the first, which is probably what it would take to get one of them."kevoncox" wrote:

I'm not sure its worth it either, but I wouldn't get crazy over it if the coaches were in love with one of them.
There's depth and there's difference makers.
There are a lot of ways to get depth, but difference makers are hard to get and usually come at a steep price.
If Raji or Maclin are worthy, I'm not sure.
But I could sit back and have faith in the choice for a few months
;D
I would be very surprised if we traded up for a WR with all the comments Childress and co. have made about picking WR in the first round.
If they really believe it is a crapshoot, then throwing in another draft pick is too big of a gamble.
The Raji move probably makes more sense, but I'm not sure our 3rd would do it.

Re: Perfect Draft: Minnesota Vikings
possibly trading down in the draft to a lower 1st round pick if someone needs it. if that doesn't happen (which it pry wont)
1. Britt
2. Unger
3. CB/DT (marks? harris?)
5. CB/DT
7. RB (johnson?)
7. OL?/S?/LB?
and thats real rough draft haha... i have done more research and more in depth
predicitons in another post in a different thread if you want to try and find it. But thats the basical general idea i think.
thank you Josdin00 for the amazing sig!
and yes... that just happened!

i do like this as well. If we decide to go Tackle with our first... (meaning Britt isn't available anymore for us) i say we go with Barden out of Cal Poly. He's got a long stride and big body. He's not slow... not too fast but not slow... and hes got good hands.1st. Oher
2nd. Alphonso Smith
3rd. Barden
but as i stated before i'd rather have Britt.

3. Too hung over after partying all Saturday night because we got Britton and Harvin to care about any of the Sunday picks until Monday at the earliest...

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!
