Re: OU's WR Malcolm Kelly Anyone?
I actually like the size of this kid and his scouting reports are glowing.
Only thing holding him back (draft position wise) is his 40 time.
If he cracks a sub 4.5 in his pro-day workouts he will go pretty high.
First WR off of my board is Limas Sweed to Buffalo at 11.
That might change abit.
I always go through my mock and
make changes after the value boards shift after the completion of the combine.
11 Buffalo Bills Limas Sweed, WR
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Highlight clips can "sell" anybody.
Don't rely on these.

Re: OU's WR Malcolm Kelly Anyone?
I mentioned Kelley way back as a good fit here (even though he is a dirty sooner).
Size, speed, etc are all measurable traits for WR's and are all fine and good.
But what makes him so special is his ball catching and desire to 'get' the ball when it's up in the air.
Sweed's good and all, but there's something special about Kelley that should'nt be passed up.

Re: OU's WR Malcolm Kelly Anyone?
really we gotta wait for his pro day.
once he works out i feel he's gonna be the first wr off the board and it will be before 17.
how we attack free agency is probably gonna narrow down where the vikes are gonna lean in april.
then again if we fill enough holes in free agency it may leave the vikes as a real wild card in the middle of the 1st round."self improvement's masturbation.
now self destruction" that's enlightenment

I don't think we want another guy in the mold of Rice. We need a burner. WCO usually has a possession receiver to one side and a more speed and agility guy to the other.

I like the kid. I'm watching 40 times but he reminds me of a Plaxico type of WR.
He looks smooth. Why does everyone think that we need a burn on the other side of rice?
What's wrong with having two large targets for Teli to throw to? Let your slot guy push the
safties.
mar,
No way Kelly is on the board longer than Sweed.

Again, I don't follow these guys so I don't compare one to the other.
When I worked this mock up, Sweed was higher than Kelly.
Again, at this point it is more important to figure out what each team will do (i.e. Take a WR) and then work out who later.
Long story short, quit trying to convince me one player is better than the other.
I look at it as who fits who's scheme better.
Believe it or not, teams will pass on a WR (insert any position) who appears to be a bit better than another because he fits thier scheme better.
For instance.......
Sedric Ellis is rated a bit lower than Glen Dorsey but if Miami selects a DT they will probably go with Ellis cause he is a true 3-4 guy (fits the scheme) and Dorsey is a 4-3 (doesn't fit the scheme) guy.
Again, I don't care who is better.
I just look at who fits the scheme better. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Your ESPN link is not about Kelly...wrong link!
