Osi Umenyiora Seeking Trade
I just saw on Sports Center that the Giants have given Osi and his agent permission to seek a trade. I know teams try not to tie up too much payroll on one position but if we could have Allen and Osi across from each other rushing the passer our defense would be pretty insane.
I say we go for it and make the big splash! The best part of my day is when I get down on my knees, with my head in my hands, and thank GOD for everything he has given me.

Snag him, asente Samuel, Floyd and call it an off season. The end.

I would cry if that happened. As Vikings fan things that incredible don't happen for us. It only happens for Eagles and Patriots fans.

Re: Osi Umenyiora Seeking Trade
They wan't at least a 1st rounder for him. No thanks. We can't afford to give up our first round pick for a #2 DE. And half of our cap would be in DE salaries. We pay Jared Allen a fortune.

Sorry Rick! Keep up the good work.

We need a DB real bad.... not a DE. Asante for our 2013 first imo

Yes ... all the Super Bowls the Eagles have won is definitely incredible for them.

Asante for our 1st? That would be insane.
He is 30-years-old and has two good years, maybe three, left at most. That is not worth a first round pick. Especially when he would not make us contenders at least for a season or two.
Now, a first rounder for Osi would be even more laughable though.

Re: Osi Umenyiora Seeking Trade
Toine and Griffin are good starters when healthy. With Asher Allen, Chris Cook, Brandon Burton and Minstral Raymond we should be able to find a viable nickel and dime. Maybe we'll even have decent cover should 1 or 2 of our guys go down. Imo our biggest issue at CB was lack of depth last year, not lack of talent on the top end.

I'm talking about the moves they've made this offseason.
