Minnesota Vikings Ã¢â‚¬â€œ According to a league source, with the team set at the running back position, look for RB Onterrio Smith to be released once his suspension is up in May.

That's pretty much what I figured. They have no reason to keep him. He will probably never play in the NFL again.

That doesn't surprise me, yet I'm still a little disappointed because I think if he managed to stay clean I think he could be an every-down back in the NFL.

He had 1 good season, but he couldn't keep himself out of trouble so we're better without him

Right on.. He screwed himself when it came to his career. He could have been a great back in this league for many years, only if he could have stayed of the stick icky.. I'm looking forward to Chester Taylor as our premier back. I wasn't so high on him when we first signed him, but after reading on him I have to admit, I am looking forward to him running behind our line..
