Re: One Final Vote: Trade up?

My take on free agency is an attempt to build a team without superstars ;somewhat like New England.

I anticipate this trend continuing through the draft.

I vote no to moving up.

And I would be happy to have Brodie Croyle except they say he is made out of glass.
What takes a quarterback to the next level is not arm strength or mobility or any of that stuff. Its the ability to play on critical downs. Manage third downs, or red zones or four-minute or two-minute situations"

Denver never lets a little thing like having too many RBs stop them from drafting another one...heck they took Clarett even though they had a ton of proven RBs coming back. The thing with DeAngelo is that I don't think that he is a Reggie Bush...I think that he is an Emmitt Smith, a Walter Payton, a Barry Sanders...in short, a RB that will give us a SOLID (not necessarily spectacular) running game for the next 10-12 years. I think that he is the rare breed that will be the foundation for several playoff runs (and a few championship finishes). Just my opinion...based on what I see. That's all.

So, what you are saying is that you'd take Williams over Reggie Bush... Right?

I've always been the type of guy who lives his life by the motto "he who has made his bed must lie in it." We made a big move by signing Chester Taylor, and I think that it would be a bad idea to go back on it now and sign a rookie RB. Especially when there are plenty of other damn good football players to select from, when we still have holes on our team (LBs).

It is not that I doubt the ability of Williams, I just don't see the need for him where we do have other needs...

I say we stay where were at, in the first round. IN the first round either draft players in this order (if available):

    1. Jay Cutler
    2. Deangelo Williams
    3. BA Corner

Then in the second, we either trade up or stay where were at, and draft a TRUE middle line backer such as abdul hodge or dqwell jackson!

    34. I did a jersey switch and that's how the 3 came out.

Ahh, I see... Nice work though. It's kinda cool to see what players would look like in our jersey's before it is even a thought to drafting them..

Explain what a beautiful woman is?

It goes along the same lines as the dead horse. This thread topic has been started so many times that the person who started the thread could probably stand watching the video associated with the 'woman click'. That's all.
