Funny you mention those two because every Sooner fan I know cheers for the Cowgirls because of Roy Williams (and to some extent location) and the Bears because of Tommie Harris

NOT all of us Sooner fans cheer for the Cowgirls... ;D

trust me i hate the COWBOYS and the longhorns and the mavericks and just about every team in the state of texas, and as far as the whole bandwagon thing, i guess you can say that, but either way im on board with the VIKINGS for good, and thats all that matters to me.
and ill take Peterson over tommie harris any day, they dont call him AD for nothing! VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the site.

No doubt, AD is the best RB to come out of Texas in a long time.
I've got nothing against the Sooners.
I used to be a fan as a kid when they featured the wishbone and had one of the best running games in the counrty.
Before you go hating on Texas too much, take a look at the Okie roster and see where those kids are coming from.

The Cowboys on the other hand, just plain suck.
Never like them, never will.

I know Adrian will be solid for the Vikings, I'm curious to see how Rufus pans out.
I like his intensity, should be fun to watch.

im not dissing the state of texas, just the teams.
i know most of our players come from texas, its that way for all of the BIG12 south division.
and RUFUS, his intensity is one thing that sets him apart.
he lacks certain things that most good NFL linebackers have, but dont count him out.
he is a sure tackler and a has natural play making abilities.
hopefully during the summer workouts he gains some speed and size and adapts to the style of defense that minnesota runs, hopefully-and i think he will, Rufus turns out to be a solid linebacker for the vikings!
