No one can doubt that the Vikings have had the best offseason; except maybe Kevoncox

Re: Offseason moves will pay off for Vikings
The real question is does the $$$ spent to get the players they got equal more wins then last season?
I can't help but feel optimistic being that I love my Vikings more then anything.
And god, please let our defense stop other teams from going pass happy on us.
There is nothing more frustrating then seeing our Pass Defense get eaten alive week in and week out expecially by half-ass QB's.
I truly feel the additon of M. Williams will pay dividends and another year under Griffins belt will pay also be huge.
Obviously J. Allen is a phenom which is an absolute boost to the D.
Let's just see if we can translate everything thats been done into a double digit winning season!

Re: Offseason moves will pay off for Vikings
I like how they ran down the off season acquisitions
Jared Allen - Best NFL player to change teams
Bernard Berrian - Best WR to change teams
Madieu Williams - Best Safety to change teams
Tyrell Johnson - Best Safety in the draft (according to some rankings)
That spells a successful offseason.Zeus wrote:

Re: Offseason moves will pay off for Vikings
The future is bright and probably closer than some like to think, however, not to darken everyones spirit but.......
a.
We still have a young QB.
He should be better as he is going into his 3rd year of his maturation process of getting to be NFL ready. We will still see some inconsistency there I suspect.
b.
RT, LT, C.
We still have issues here as well. Whats McKinnies status gonna be and when he does play will he be able to stop a DE from getting around him.
Will Cook continue with the same maturation process that TJ is going through and how will Birk play this year.
Will he be able to perform as the line capt this year as well as stop the blitz packages up the middle?
c.
WR.
Sure BB is a nice addition and Rice/AA showed some promise last year but BB will be in a new system with a new QB (some growing pains early) and Rice/AA will surely make some bonehead mistakes because of youth.
Again, back to the maturation process.
Anyway, I look to see us have a few tough games early, starting to really come together about mid season and peak right about week 12 or 13 for a solid run at the playoffs.
Might be a bit early to start buying your SB tickets my friends.
Heck before we signed Allen you guys were worried about making the playoffs.
Fickle Vikings Fans.
;DMany many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Re: Offseason moves will pay off for Vikings
It will be successful if the team is better than it has been. That will only be decided during the season. Until then===. Pray.
