    Re: Culpepper to Fins.

I know everyone is getting tired of all these DC threads probably, but it sure is amazing how I have gone from thinking DC for a 2nd rounder was getting robbed a month or so ago, to thinking we better jump on this deal quickly.

What position is Miami's 2nd rounder anyway I havent looked? I would assume it is fairly early unless they moved with someone else in some other deal before.

Bad trade. Give me a player also or straight up for a 1st rounder. Even conditional draft picks would be good. Although... this does give us a good chance to get Jacob and Bing in the 2nd.
I am OK with this trade. In his present state he simple doesn't command any more, and a conditional pick could be taking a risk that he will recover completely from his injury. I think it is a good trade for both the Vikes and the Fins.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Just heard him break that news on KFAN and he said the deal should be formally announced later today.

I think they are the pick before us so we would have back to back picks. Maybe they are the pick after us... not sure.

ITS OFFICIAL - CULPEPPER TO FINS

Daunte Culpepper finally has his wish.

FOXSports.com has learned the Vikings and Dolphins have agreed on a trade with Miami sending a second-round pick to the Vikings in exchange for the Pro Bowl quarterback.
The trade is contingent upon Culpepper passing a physical.

The trade is fine with me. He can be a pest in someone elses ear.

There is one thing that I can't figure out... Pep obviousally wants to go to Miami. Miami seems to only want Pep if they can't get Brees. With the ego that Pep has been displaying lately, why is he so bent on playing for a team where he is the 2nd choice???

I think a 2nd rounder and a conditional is the best trade. See, if culpepper comes back and is a pro-bowler, we got a good trade since we get a 1st rounder. If he never recovers, it is still a fair trade.

At this point, I don't really care. I would just like to see us move on.
