Both quarterbacks praised rookie receiver Percy Harvin, who the Vikings selected No. 22 overall in this year's draft. In just three days of practice, Jackson has already seen how dangerous of a receiver Harvin can be.

”He’s a very talented guy. He’s paying attention to detail, the little things, and it’s going to carry over for him," Jackson said. "Everybody knows he’s a very explosive player. I know the guys, we’re going to love having him out here. Like a new toy, just want to try him out and get him the ball as much as possible.”

Cornerback Benny Sapp had an active day. He intercepted a Tarvaris Jackson pass in 7-on-7 drills and he nearly picked off a Sage Rosenfels pass in team period.

When Percy Harvin missed rookie training camp earlier this month, naysayers immediately assumed the worst about the first-round pick from Florida....

Finally some football news, with something different...ah. It's been a long offseason, and it's great to hear something aside from who may come out of retirement. Percy could be the spark that puts that KAO into gear. I'm excited to hear about position battle's, and am looking forward to the team the Vikes will field this season.
