This is huge. I am a huge fan of David Carr. With our offensive line we are in for a great next couple of years...

Hopfully I posted this in the right forum. I am sure if I didnt it will get moved in ten seconds and half the people on this site will let me know abouyt. So sorry for that in advance.

I really like Carr, he was never given a good team to work with in Houston anyway. I hope we get him!

He has to be a tough sob to be able to get up after all those sacks. He could do well with the Vikings.

I would be pumped if we got him but i'm not going to hold my breath in case a deal never goes through. A 4th round pick is nothing.

Lets not forget here, the Texans did pass up Reggie Bush for Mario Williams. So David Carr for a 4th rounder sounds about right for their management

I would love to give him a shot.
A 4th rounder can produce some solid players (Mewelde, Brian Williams, Ray Edwards, Onterrio Smith), but a change of scenery could really help Carr.

Incidentally, while I was looking up some draft info, I thought it was pretty cool that a former Viking had an influence on hip-hop.
