I was out looking at Mock Drafts around the net... This one caught my eye as being pretty stupid... It has Bradford falling to #23 and being drafted by the Vikes. I don't think that will happen, but it could.

NAH, won't happen... that entire site had some questionable calls.... half the teams they had taking players, i don't see any of them taking those positions... and Sanchez going in the top 10??...and before Bradford?.. not so sure about that!!
Look at their profile for Maclin

Maclin is a game changing player. He can both run the ball and catch the ball for 6 on every play. Look for him to be a great play maker in the NFL.

    Thats it!!!!

I'm seeing a lot of second to early third projections.
I see him going to a team like the Eagles or Bengals, depending on where those teams are putting his value.

I too believe Maclin would be a great addition to this team, but I have the feeling he will be gone by the time we pick.
I'm throwing my hope of a first round WR at Kenny Britt or Hakeem Nicks now.
They are both big, physical receivers, which is what we need.
Whichever one runs a faster 40 will probably be taken first.

I heard that the waterboy resigned from the Jints and he is selling their playbook on ebay.

I have a name to throw out, and flame me all you want for it, but I think he is a definate possibility.

    Rhett Bomar

For those who don't remember, he was the starting QB for the Sooners in 05 and had a decent second half of the season.
But then he was dismissed from the team for accepting money from a car dealership without working before the 06 season started - a violation of NCAA rules.
He went to Sam Houston State and finished pretty well.

I think he could be a steal in the second round.

I also think Hunter Cantwell could be a potential pick.

The problem lies in the fact that they would both be projects.

What is everyone's feeling on DJ Moore? I think that a lot of the top O-linemen will be taken in the draft. The Vikes could sign FA Chris Snee from the Giants and take care of the right guard need without having to fork over a lot of dough for Nnamdi Asomugha, the top CB FA. I think taking our next highest need (aside from QB) in cornerback would be most beneficial w/ the 22nd pick (unless we decide to trade up or down). Either Vontae Davis or DJ Moore or even Macho Harris would be a huge upgrade to our weak secondary.

    Interesting.
Not sure if the Vikes are gonna take a QB that high this year.
I'm thinking 5 round or so.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
