I think that brining in Childress was a great idea. He coached a similar QB.

Also, the vikings running game could be helped if they do the following:

1. sign Jon Runyan OT
2. resign Toniu Fonoti OG
3. Birk stays healthy
4. Vikes trade for BUSH!!

the left side has mount mckinnie and marcus johnson and anthony herrera can battle for LG

Hate to break it to you but... no way we get bush. He'll probably go #1. I would rather have Lendale when we pick seeing that Reggie will be gone long before then. Otherwise I would be happy with that.. Get a LB in the 2nd and we are set.

If Childress does what he says, and that is put in place a solid O line, we still have some very good quality backs here..

MM, MB, OS (sounds like Childress already wants him back)...And Fason.....

If anything, I'de say use Bennet as a trading tool and try to bring in a proven workhorse like Jamal Lewis..

If I new for sure Ricky Williams head was on straight, and he wouldn't quit on us like he did the Fins, I'de say maybe Ricky also on the bring um in list....

But I really don't see the need to draft a RB, as much as everyone else seems to think......At least not with our 1st pick........I'de go for the Best OL or LB and whichever position was on the top of our list at that pick, I'de take them......OL or LB

LG - Johnson
C - Birk
RG - Fonoti
RT - Runyan

That is an excellent Line. Then we have the option of signing or drafting an elite RB, maybe even both. Give that line a feature back and we've got a 1600 yard rusher easy.

I'm real split between Edge and Maroney right now. Either way I think Moore should see 8-10 carries a game.

I hope we go with a power running game. Hell I would draft White and Michael Bush if it was up to me. I'm more comfortable by signing some reliable veteran linemen.
