Re: Observations From Tuesday, July 31

    Tarvaris Jackson sucked.
    Plain and simple.
He couldn't even complete a pass in 7-on-7 drills.
He threw three interceptions throughout the day, and missed his receivers badly quite a few times.
    He just seemed way off.
Maybe Jake Plummer isn't such a bad idea afterall!

Re: Observations From Tuesday, July 31

When they did a scrimmage on the practice fields, they were too far away for me to see anything.
They practiced on the middle field.
I think that's when Chester Taylor went down,
so I didn't see who hit him.

    Then the fun part started.
The team went into Blakeslee Stadium and did a full scrimmage.
At first it was just wrap up, then after a break they came back and did full contact, to the ground. With Taylor out, Peterson took all the reps at running backs with the first team. He didn't do anything, and honestly, it was because the defensive line was just all over us.
Throughout the whole scrimmage, our defense shined.
They had a few sacks, stops in the backfield, and four interceptions, three of those picks went all the way for touchdowns.
all the articles i've read said that chester taylor went down in blakeslee stadium

sounds like u had fun tho

Sounds like the same crap from last year . . .

Offense can't figure their way out of a hole and the defense is earning their keep.
sad how we had a top five offense for like 5 years straight and no defense and now that our defense is good the offense is sucking.....if only we could put the two together

This from KFAN's assessment on Tuesday:
Tarvaris Jackson was wildly inaccurate, mostly because he was playing under heavy pressure. Even when he wasn't being pressured, he played as if pressure was coming.
    I am really getting concerned!

I am to, but the only way baldy will pull him is if he is dead.

And it doesn't sound like Bollinger is much better and Thigpen is terrible. Childress, for all his talk about being a quarterback geru, must have his head up his rear.

People it is only training camp don't take the gas pipe yet!

Remember 2 years ago when the defense and the offense both looked
unstoppable in training camp and C-Pep looked better than he ever has!

Then the season started and the defense sucked and C-pep absolutely sucked until he got hurt.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.
