He'll actually catch it instead of TWill's bumbling self.
55 catches, 800 yards, 8 tds would be great.
Only problem though, is that in 4 years, B-Berr has only caught 11 passes of 40+ or more

The general consensus for a good year from Berrian so far appears to be in the range of
50-60 receptions, 600-800 yards with 5-8 TD's which is far and away better than anything we had last year. BUT, would you call that a good return on a 40 MILLION DOLLAR investment? This has to pay him as one of the top 10 W/R's in the league and IMO if your going to demand top 10 money you better put up top ten stats.

    One would hope.

I think the WR's we had, especially Rice, have the potential to put up 60 catches and 800 yards this year so I would like to see much more from a high paid acquisition.

I think Berrian will lead our team in receiving yards, but Rice will lead in TDs. Berrian is too small to be a good red zone target, while Rice is amazing down there.

I'm saying Berrian gets 900 yards, 6 TDs, and Rice gets 700 yards and 8 TDs.

So now do we package our Draft picks to move up and get a projected stud DE or look for one in FA and go BPA in the draft?

I'd like to see a move for Jason Taylor, then BPA down the draft line, as I think we have kids on our roster that will eventually fill in for Taylor when he retires.

If we can't get Taylor, we might be pushed more towards attempting to acquire a DE in the draft, and reaching for one...a decision I think will bite us in the ass.
I'd rather we drafted BPA (save running back) and deal with our DE situation as is.
We can get pressure from our boys, and with Williams signed, we have more range and cover ability in the secondary.

A DE in the draft will take a couple years to come to fruition. See: Everyone proclaiming the best DE in the league a bust in his first year, Mario Williams.
