Oh dear god, we actually have a passing attack... I can't express this amount of joy in words.

I don't think that we have a passing attack just yet.
I think QB player is still part of the equation. Will jack improve, Will we bring in someone like Gray to compete. Will Gray take the starting spot....Why aren't we looking for a Qb?

I disagree I believe Berrian will have a career year. When he was on the Bears no one ever stacked the box against Benson or Thomas so i think when they are stacking 8 against AD Berrian is gunna make em sorry.

    :P T-Jack to Berrian
I think he probably has seen some stacked boxes with Wrecks in the backfield teams would dare him to throw(In 06 they had one of the better run games I believe). Plus I am sure alot of his yards came against the vikings week pass D.
I think he will be a very nice piece to the puzzle but it is a little silly to think that he is going to become randy moss or TO overnight. He should be better in 2 or 3 years.
He has been in the league for 4 years. I hope to god we didn't give that much to someone who will take 6-7 years to develop. He had better be ready to go right out of the gate. ;D

With the contract he got, I expect him to get almost the same amount of yards than all our recievers had together last season.
However, that would likely not happen. I'm happy if he gets either 7 TDs or 800+ yards

alots gonna depend on how much we pass and how tjack develops.
if we run an offense like we did for half of last season no wr is gonna have a big year or impact.
hopefully this creates some mismatches and forces the vikes to use some more spread formations to get 8 guys outta the box more often and open up the running game even more.

So if I understand you correctly, your saying we paid all this money for Berrian just so he can be a decoy to open some holes for Peterson to run the ball? Thats alot of money to spend on a decoy.

Nope. You use both weapons. With the defense having to stay honest, our offense will improve greatly. We have a better option to run or pass depending on how we read the defense. Since our WR didn't pose a threat last year due to lack of a great receiver, our opponents shut our run game down.

Now if they try it, we hit B-Berr down field. If they cover B-Berr with 1 or 2 DB's, because he poses a threat, AD has a better shot at big yards.

Run to open up the pass & pass to open up the run. QB's discretion based on how he reads the defense.

can't wait to see TJack go deep to Berrian.
He'll actually catch it instead of TWill's bumbling self.
55 catches, 800 yards, 8 tds would be great.
