Re: "No idea what this team is doing"

Purging miscreant players who are disrupting team chemistry and pursuing good character players who will not likely get into any trouble or embarass the team.
This will improve the Vikings image in the Community, which will help the stadium drive effort.

Thank you so much for helping many of us to finally understand what this organization is doing to help build a better football team:
We are looking for good character players. And all this time I thought they were actually looking for talent but apparently the fact that they have little to no talent at all is
simply a minor inconvieniance. As long as they wont embarass the team OFF THE FIELD,
thats all that really maters. Now, as for what they do on the field, that will be another type of embarassment but Hey!! we will be the best mannered team in the NFL and we can all be proud of that.

Talent and good character are not mutually exclusive characteristics.
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !

    that's right claw.
as if we are the only team in the nfl looking for good character guys also.

so the fact that the vikes have signed a basketball player who has never played football, two wr's who couldn't break lineups with bad teams with no wr's,

have collected a bunch of qb's nobody wants to start so that we have to draft another qb in this year's draft (perplex),

and signing mad safties so we can have the deepest corp in the nfl for some odd reason.

and if you ask questions about these things, amongst others, guys like perplex makes it sound like you are the one thats crazy.
like somehow all of this is completely clear and you just dont know enough to get it.
well i know football, and i believe enough people in the media do also that when they see what the vikes have done so far.
    they are baffled also.

Very true statement, talent and good character are not mutally exclusive. Now, tell me about all the talented players we have added to the roster since the end of last year.

Re: "No idea what this team is doing"

Numerous articles have been written by Twin Cities reporters, and numerous interviews were done, all of which explain the strategy employed by the new Vikings ownership in rebuilding a team patched together under a shoestring budget and lack of player accountability.

So, which of the critics of Zygi Wilf's team restructuring plan has ALSO become a billionnaire in real estate investments, or some other business through their brilliant insight into building and rebuilding business organizations?

    ???

Well that certainly clears everything up in terms of where the team is headed and the long range goal. Thanks so much

and does any of that include putting a winning team on the field?
are they gonna use 30+ million in cap space to put towards a stadium deal? and numerous articles were also written about how fans and experts cannot understand why the vikes are piecing together a team that looks like crap on paper right now.
    so what is your point.

Try searching the Twin Cities newspaper websites for the aforementioned articles...... search for keywords such as Childress, Spielman, rebuilding plan, etc.

See links provided on the left side of the page, with purple headers separating the sections...

    "multimedia"?

    ;D
    ---- nope.

    this might help ....

So a national media hack makes a throwaway comment because he can't use Google for 15 seconds to research the Vikes future plans? Boo-bloody-Hoo. Waa waa, and all that rubbish. I prefer the fact the Vikes are playing it close to their chest, or at least close enough so this waste of my time and space can't figure it out.

My point is that some people don't read things thoroughly, and don't pay attention to details.

I hope I don't have to explain that to you again.
