I hope the home game against KC will have home-grown announcers.
I'll record both KSTP and NFLHD, just in case.
FSNOHD isn't showing their replay until 7pm Thursday, 6 days later, and I don't think I could wait that long for a professionally-produced HD copy of the sure-to-be-rotten lo-res KSTP broadcast.
About the Colts game: In contrast to the live broadcast on KSTP, the delayed one on NFLHD was a genuinely high-definition production.
Unfortunately, the Colts crew interviewed loads of Colts people, including Bob Irsay, which prevented me from enjoying the game.
KSTP's broadcast insulted the viewer with an SD picture for roughly 45 minutes, then switched to an awful "HD" picture which really wasn't as good as some 480-line widescreen presentations have been. And the sound was so tinny it made one of the announcers (who has a high voice anyway) sound like a girl.
I live in Chicago so only got the NFLN one. Is Mike Mayock still doing the Minnesota braodcast? I love that guy because he brings a lot of perspective to preseason and talks about the 2nd and 3rd stringers. I think he did all 4 games last year.
Does anyone know if the game will be shown on national TV now that Favre is starting?
