Lee Rasizer, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports an unnamed team was the third team to turn down the Denver Broncos' offer of two first-round draft picks for their first-round pick in the NFL Draft. The team was draft somewhere in the top five of the draft, other than No. 3 or No. 5.

Jamison Hensley, of the Baltimore Sun, reports the Baltimore Ravens are prepared to move down from the No. 13 overall spot in the first round in the NFL Draft and acquire more picks. The Ravens only have two selections among the first 110 picks.

IF Denver is willing to sweeten the pot a little bit more, they could probably get Houston's pick...imagine Reggie Bush running behind Denver's OL...SCARY!!!

With as many holes as the packers have, why would they not want to move down and get two first round draft picks, hey better for us, they can spend more money, and watch they will pick a bust

ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the Buffalo Bills sound as though they are focused on taking Florida State DT Brodrick Bunkley with the eighth pick in the first round of next week's NFL Draft. Oregon DT Haloti Ngata is too big and not quick enough for their new Cover 2 defensive scheme, which needs quicker defensive linemen. The Bills could be tempted to trade down a few spots if they get the right offer and still be in position to come up with Bunkley.

The Journal Inquirer reports University of Connecticut DL Shawn Mayne was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL Draft. Mayne is also eligible in next week's NFL Draft. CFL franchises retain the draft rights on players indefinitely so Mayne is free to pursue potential opportunities in the NFL this summer.

ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the New York Jets had a retired player visit with Virginia OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson Thursday evening, April 20, to evaluate how he will psychologically fit in the NFL. Head coach Eric Mangini wants smart players who love the game, and the organization will be exhaustive in trying to investigate those traits. Ferguson is expected to pass any of those tests with flying colors.
