Scout.com has learned from a league source that unrestricted free agent Derrick Pope is in Minnesota all day today and Thursday to visit with the Vikings.

Actually started a few games last years for the DolphinsOK not saying much) But I honestly like the approach that The Vikes are taking right now with looking at bringing in some reserves for Def and players for special teams. I know they are not the big names but any time you can add depth to a team is a good thing.

I would like the addition and I second the thumbs up to the approach the Vikes are trying to take.
Still young, he can help out on ST and is probably still improving as a football player.
Great for depth, hope we snag him.
