    Didn't think of that .... he must have been. That commercial isn't over 2 years old.

    Anytime you can get a player that started on those Patriots teams it's a smart move.

    Yes he was indeed in the commercial.

    He would be a good signing. We still need help at RG, unless we are truely intent with goldberg starting, which I am not(and we all know I run the team :grin: ), even though I can admit goldberg played much better then I expected him to last season.

    We need to add a decent vet to the right side of the O-line. Wether it be a guard, keeping Johnson at RT, which I think is his better position, or we go get a Runyan and put MJ at RG.

    Saw some rumors that Runyan is on vacation and wont visit any teams unless they send him an offer first. Sounds like he's saying with the Iggles.

    Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Philadelphia Eagles are still discussing the idea of re-signing free agent OT Jon Runyan (Eagles). Runyan is going to be on vacation until Saturday, March 18, and said he did not have any visits scheduled with other NFL teams.

    Ok, youse mugs, here's da dope on dis Neal character...
    =================================================
    2005 Scouting Report - Scouts Inc.
    Grade: 67 | Key
    Alert: E

    Comment:
    He has adequate overall strength, he does an effective job of pushing the DT's to the inside, and he does a pretty nice job of sustaining his blocks. His overall strength, power and the ability to control a DT seems good, although his techniques are not always top notch. He has good overall hand use, he will get some separation, and he seems to play with a good motor, and he appears to have tenacity and really works to finish his blocks. Although you like him athletically and in space, he is still not an accomplished pass blocker, but much of it is likely due to lack of experience rather than a lack of AA. He doesn't always do a great job of redirecting and if he starts one way, it is difficult for him to handle several moves vs. quick inside penetrators.

Managed 14 starts in 2004, and 16 in 2005. 2003: Was on injury list all season. Moved from PUP to IR in November. 2002: Started 1 game, was injured and placed on injured reserve 2001: Signed as a free agent, was released during preseason, then reacquired to finish the season with New England. Inactive all season.

    College: Cal State Bakersfield
    Was a wrestler at Cal State, played no football. Notable moments were wrestling against Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams and WWF wrestler Brock Lesnar.
