Re: Napo signs with Chefs
That sucks.
I hope they don't plan on trying E.J. back in the middle after he finally found his notch last year.

Right now, he's in Greenway's way.

Re: Napo signs with Chefs
Is anyone else getting a little worried that the Vikings have not signed anyone significant yet?
I'm not sure what's going on, but they need to sign some guys quickly.

I understand that I only possess a layman's knowledge of how to run a professional football team and choose to let those who are experts run the business.

IMO, the Triangle of Authority ( not just Childress ) is holding to their plan to get young players who will be around for a long run at several championships. Is anyone else getting a little worried that the Vikings have not signed anyone significant yet?

Harris was one of the 'older' LBs on the roster, although he is still young, and he played well last year.
Greenway will step in and probably do as well as he did in pre-season last year.
D.
Thomas is still around, and may be a good backup.
IIRC, Farwell did OK as a sub last year, and Ciuriu is a ST player who might be OK if pressed into duty due to injury.
A rookie drafted on Day 2 might complete the needed depth, and alleviate concerns about the entire LB corp.
When we stop to think about it, most folks behavior isn't perplexing after all !
