Re: my rant on our off season hopes
Your thoughts about me - WOW, you think I am an idiot, I hope so if you are the standard of intelligence in your world that is the best compliment you could have given me.
Speaking of last words, you cry about me and the whole time there you are hmmmm!?!!?
Not letting go, you are fighting a losing battle; the idiotic statements that Del found only goes to show that even now knowing how silly they sound you are holding onto them like a pit bull on a bone.
We were right about DC you were wrong, you couldn't see his flaws, he had a great year and you assumed it would continue, IT DIDN'T!!
Get over it, he is not a great QB, the fight is over and if you have any proof otherwise please enlighten us.
And if by some miracle he can read defenses I am sure you will let us know!!
As far as DC is concerned I did not know DC would implode like that.
I truly thought he would have good numbers but maybe great, but I look to super bowls not individual records.
I thought and still think any time DC has pressure he will choke.
Due to the reasons I stated earlier, yes I would have liked to have traded DC.
After the year he had, we could have gotten a lot for him.

There s only two things stopping you - fear and common sense!! The Truth you CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!

Whack,
How does having one good year where we failed to reach anything substantial as a team proove any of Tarks arguments wrong?
a) He is inconsistent (1 YEAR cannot determind consistency)
b) He cannot win the big game, the 2min down by 4 points game.
Calling someone an idiot for feeling this way about the above two points is absolute madness, you have no grounds to stand on.

Daunte has as much chance of making the Hall of Fame as Ron Dayne does of rushing for 2000 yards in a season.By the way who said Daunte's career is over?
Has he retired?
Did he die?
As far as I know he will play next season and who is to say he still doesn't make the Hall Of Fame?
So you can still be wrong Tark!
=Z=
Do I think that Daunte makes the hall?
NO
Do I think it is yet possible he can come back and have a good career?
It is possible.
Could he make the Hall?
It is possible.

3 All-Pro seasons, 2 mediocre seasons and 3 seasons which are essentially lost because he either didn't play or he was hurt.
He's going to be 30 in 9 days.
IF he plays 10 more seasons (which is a big if) and those 10 seasons follow a similar pattern, he'll have 3 really good seasons and 7 which won't be of note.
I just don't see that as a Hall-of-Fame career.
But....as you say....anything is possible.
Troy Williamson could learn to catch, for example.
Or Fred Smoot could learn to tackle.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re: my rant on our off season hopes
I think this thread may have reached it's breaking point.
There were some good points made, but they are just that.
If anyone can see into the future, please PM me!
If anyone knows how to correct past mistakes, PM me on that one too.
About the only conclusion I can come up with that is a truth is that DC is an NFL QB.
Other than that, how does that translate into HOPE for our season which is the title of this thread.
DC hijacked this thread. LOL
