    My Perfect offseason Moves..

    1) Trade for MacNabb 2nd and a conditional (2-4th in next years draft)
    2) Trade D. Smith + a 4th rounder for Eugene Wilson( unhappy about team and contract)
    3) Sign Jared Allen or trade a 5th rounder for J Kerse( needs to redo contract)
    4) Sign Bernard Berrian.
    5) Sign TE Smith (PHI) URFA
Draft Smidt( spelling) from WVU to replace T. Rich
Trade # our 1 + Williamson for Fitzgerald.

Our Offense will now look like this

    QB- Mcnabb
    RB - Peterson
    FB - T. Rich
    WR - Fitz
    WR - Rice
    WR - Berrian
    WR - Wade
    TE - Smith

    DE - Udeze/ Kerse
    DT- Williams
    DT - Williams
    DE - Alllen / Kerse
    CB - Griffen / McCauley
    CB - Winfield
    FS - Sharper
    SS - Wilson

I know the draft picks are going to cost us a year. However, The talent we will get back more than makes up for all of them. We will have a Superbowl Caliber team.

Why do people keep acting like Larry Fitzgerald will be available for trade?
Would YOU trade your best WR, especially one who isn't a headcase (unlike, say, TO)?

He's not their best. Boldwin is much better. Also he has complained often about not getting enough balls/ touches( even with 100 receptions). How can you think that Fitz is better that Quan? It's not even close. Boldwin is more physical than TO with the hands of Randy. His only downside is his lack of ideal speed. However, i wouldn't tell him that.

It's a close call between Boldin and Fitzgerald, for sure, not nearly as obvious as you seem to feel it is.

    Anquan Boldin's career stats:

Fitzgerald has a better per-catch average and more TDs, in one fewer season.

So - there's no way you can say that Boldin is "much better".
There's no evidence to back that up.

The only reason that the Cards might consider trading Fitzgerald is that he's due an INSANE amount of money in base-salary in 2008 and 2009.

    Fitzgerald's salary history:
    http://www.nflpa.org/Resources/ActivePlayerSearch.aspx?id=35749
    2004 1050000.00
    2005 305000.00
    2006 3317500.00
    2007 3580000.00
    2008 14592500.00
    2009 17355000.00

    Boldin's salary history:
    http://www.nflpa.org/Resources/ActivePlayerSearch.aspx?id=34495
    2003 225000.00
    2004 305000.00
    2005 1500000.00
    2006 1750000.00
    2007 2000000.00
    2008 2500000.00
    2009 2750000.00
    2010 3000000.00

So, Boldin is signed for one more year at a much better price.
Of course, that kind of disparity often leads to discontent on the part of the player who ISN'T making the big bucks.

Do YOU think Larry Fitzgerald is worth 31 million dollars over the next 2 years?

And if Boldin is so much better (in your opinion), why don't the Vikings trade for him?

U can't just compare stats. Look a on the feild plays. Who gets doubled? Quan. Fitz are geting a lot of his stats based on what Quan is doing. We can't get Quan. I believe he is almost untradeable.

You must watch a lot of Arizona Cardinals games to be so sure of who is being doubled.
    I feel sorry for you.

As to untradeable, at 31 million due over the next 2 seasons, so is Fitzgerald.

I guarantee you we won't trade our 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th this offseason. Write it down. We're not gonna go into the draft with just our 3rd, 6th and 7th.

I know that is a larger figure. However, He's probally going to want to re do his contract. For us, I don't know all of the figures behind the cap( i know the Cards have to pay what's guareentee). Still you haven't told me what you think about my moves.

    Hilarious.

Almost none of these moves has a chance.

Why would Fitzgerald want to redo his contract?
He's due $31 million over the next two years - there's no incentive for him to redo it.

    1.
I don't believe McNabb will be traded - and he certainly won't be traded for anything less than a first-rounder.
    2.
There's no way in hell Belichick would allow Dwight Smith on his team.
    3.
Jared Allen will be franchised by KC.
    4.
No need for Bernard Berrian on this roster.
    5.
No need for another TE - Shank isn't going anywhere.
    6.
I don't know enough about the FB you are mentioning to replace Tony Richardson to comment.
    7.
I have outlined above my thoughts about the likelihood that Fitzgerald will be traded.
