Mock Drafts: Inquiring minds want to know

    Now that the draft is over I have a few questions for you die-hard Mockers;

    1. How well did you do overall?

    2. How well did you do on the Vikings picks?

    3. How much time did you invest in your 2008 Mock Draft?

    4. What did you get in return for all of the time you invested in your mock?

Re: Mock Drafts: Inquiring minds want to know

    1. How well did you do overall?

I haven't looked at all 7 rounds and I am afraid to what with all the damn trades this year.
I did get 5 right on my 1rst round and I think I should get extra credit for my Dallas/Felix Jones pick as I had them taking him at 28 instead of 22.

    2. How well did you do on the Vikings picks?

Again, I haven't gone through all 7 rounds but I don't think I had any of the guys we drafted.

    3. How much time did you invest in your 2008 Mock Draft?

Way more than I want to admit, however, less than I normally do.
Because I don't follow college ball, I usually pass the offseason by studying the collegiate kids.

The offseason was just to damn interesting. jkjugaloo has been a great addition to the site.
He made my research alot easier.
    I think he needs a title..... ;D

    4. What did you get in return for all of the time you invested in your mock?
I learned about our teams and other teams draft strategies.
I learned about alot of players I never heard about.
I learned that alot of people don't enjoy doing mocks like I do.

    Funny thing though.

For all the mockers of mocks, seems that there are alot of websites on them and the draft was carried by two channels. Might be a few more people interested in the whole process than want to admit it.
    ;D

I searched assholes on google and had hundreds of hits, doesn't mean I want to spend my time wading through the sites.

Well, not exactly die-hard, but I did make one at some point.

    1. How well did you do overall?
    I'm afraid not that well.

    2. How well did you do on the Vikings picks?
Only did 1st round, had Merling there to us I believe. So at least if you consider Allen our 'pick' I got the position right.

    3. How much time did you invest in your 2008 Mock Draft?
    About 15-20 min.

    4. What did you get in return for all of the time you invested in your mock?
It forced me to read up on some of the top prospects. Made watching the first day that much more enjoyable overall

Thanks to PPE for the sig.
