Thread: Mock Draft Question?????

This is the first year I've really looked at "mock drafts." From the sounds of things Mel Kiper seems to be the "favorite" or "most reliable" according to PPO posters and others.
So here's my question, how accurate are these guys percentage wise? Do they usually get 20% right? 50% right? 75% right.
It seems to be to just be one big guessing game and no one can read the minds of the coaches.
If they even get 50% right, why do so many people hold them up as "draft gods?" I'm guessing most people here could do about that good or better.

It's just entertainment during the offseason. Most mock drafts are worthless within days or hours after writing them because some trade goes through with picks. The Moulds trade today will screw up any mock drafts made before today. I'm not sure what the accuracy is, that would depend on how they rate their accuracy too. The only way to do a reasonable mock draft is with a branch diagram with likely permeatations based on what happens in the prior picks. Simply put, it's a waste of time....but isn't that why we live at PP.O anyway? :lol:

Anyone that is semi-serious about fantasy football has done a zillion mock drafts in 'real' life for their fantasy team. That sentence makes no sense, so I'll stop here.

Hey Prophet.... you should make us one of those branch diagrams with permeatations for us, that would be sweet.

Simply put, it's a waste of time....but isn't that why we live at PP.O anyway?

Ourlad's got 8 right in the 1st round but 5 of those were in the 1st 5 picks which were easy.
