Minnesota contacts Atlanta

Kfan is reporting that the Vikings are in contact with Atlanta for the services of Matt Schaub, they said this is being reported by another source but I was not able to confirm it anywhere else!

This would be great news, and I do not care if it takes a lot to get him! He has 2 years experience in the NFL, and if we move up in the draft to get one of the top 3 QBs we will have to give up a lot to move up! I think he is going to be a great QB and have a fantastic career! I would to love to have that career be in Minnesota! If not I will be eating a lot of crow because I have been pushing for him for awhile!

Not going to happen. Atlanta needs a backup QB as part of the deal with Vick getting hurt every 4th game. The Vikings don't have a backup QB to deal...

we should trade BJ and a pick (4, maybe 3) for him, because the only thing holding them back is the need for aq backup because of Vick's running
