    Vikings sign Boulware
The Vikings added safety depth by signing Michael Boulware to a one-year deal.

"This team has a lot of potential and is headed in the right direction," Boulware said. "so I'm definitely happy to be a part of it."

    Good move

Very nice move allows us to possibly draft 2 DE's a WR and a QB in first 3 rounds, rather than wasting one of them on a safety which was needed!

exactly not long ago it was basically mandatory that we draft a young safety to at least add some depth. Picking up a young guy for cheap is a much better move for now, lets shore up our others holes!

I like this move, according to his numbers, Boulware is a very good player to have as a back-up.
He looks more like a linebacker though, he's big for a safety at height: 6-3, and weight: 220 pounds. It doesn't surprise me that I read that he played linebacker in college.

    Hell Yeah!!
Our FO is freakin workin it this FA!
Boulware adds depth at two positions (I'm guessing he could play some zone LB too with his college experience), and is a pretty good guy to have as our third S.
He is also still young, and may grow into that position with some experience behind Sharper.
Of course, one year isn't a ton...bet he'll get some time on ST too, hopefully he'll earn an extension.

    And more depth at DT.
At the very least, we'll need extra reps there through preseason, and who knows, maybe Kenderick will play a bit better with some better defensive players around him.
Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!
