McCareins and Barton

Hey All,

Just saw this in prosportsdaily.com/nfl/nflrumors.html

With the departure of Napo and our WR predicament, are these two worth a trade?
Both are pretty solid proven players.
Just a thought, if we don't trade up to get CJ would trading down with the Jets (take their 1st rounder, McCareins & Barton) for our 1st round pick be a smart move?

I'd like to hear thoughts.

Those would be two HUGE pick ups for us!

I would love to see the Chiller redeem himself and pick them up!

The rumor was there with them re-signing Jericho that they would release McCareins.
Maybe McCareins, Barton and their first rounder for our first rounder and a third

Actually the Jets have the number 25 pick.
Therefore, IMO, (not sure of the mathematical equalities) I think just our first rounder would work.
However, if they did throw in a 3rd rounder, I wouldn't cry about it.

Don't want to lose our 1st rounder, but those two are also proven players.

I thought so too.
I also think if we get the Jets 1st rounder I wouldn't mind getting Dwayne Jarrett.
He should still be around then and we would have McCareins, Jarrett, Williamson, Carter, Nance, and wade.
Maybe we could use Williamson for trade bait then.
Somebody would love the chance to work with him because of his speed.
The only issue would then be getting a quality DE.
I think James and Scott are okay but they are too questionable at this point.
I don't believe Udeze is good on the outside.
He can work better splitting time on the inside
