Re: MARONEY OR WILLIAMS OR WHITE????

If we have a shot at any of these three then DeAngelo Williams is the pick, mu gut feeling is that Williams and Bush (obviously) are both gone in the first ten though ... I think White could also go by No. 15 leaving us with Maroney at No. 17 ... not a terrible settle, but I would prefer Ahmad Brooks if he is there.

No really need for a runningback. O line is where its at.
Disagree. I don't have the patience for a rookie O-lineman. I really hope we address that in free agency. In the draft I'm hoping for a running back or a safety that can contribute right away.

We will address the O-line with a fat contract to Hutchinson. Seattle won't be able to afford him, with the huge chunk of change they are gonna have to give alexander and the big dough they gave walter jones last off-season. I'm fine with marcus johnson at RT and Fonoti(assuming we resign him) at LG.
I agree with getting Hutchinson to help shore up our O-line but wonder why you would put him at RG when he has been a multiple pro bowler as a LG which is where we would play him at and put Fonoti on the right side.

I like the idea better of having a stud like hutchinson, next to the youngster Johnson on the right side, and let Fonoti play alongside McKinnie. Hutch can play both guard positions and I guess if we wanna go with having a monster left side of the O-line, then that is the way to go. I just like having a more balanced O-line compared to one strong side and a weaker one. Either way, as long as we get this guy, I am 100% more confident in our O-line for next season.

Man that woud be the sweetest, Mckinnie,Fonoti,Birk,Hutchison,Johnson. Nice, and depth galore, Rosenthal has great experience as RT, Fowler is great depth that is versatile. Lewinski and Goldberg also serve as great backups. Thats 4 pro bowl caliber players on the line with an upcoming Marcus Johnson, my only beef with him is his offsides.

Man if we could get these guys on the field healthy is would be alot of fun, not only for the run game but for Culpepper to finally get a Oline back.

I want either D'Angelo Williams or LenDale if either is available at #17 when we pick.

Don't expect to see Rosey or Lewinski back with us next season, same for Withrow. From what I am hearing as of right now, we don't really want any of them back next season, none of which would be much of a loss if you ask me. Hopefully though we do keep(or resign if his contract is up) Fowler and resign Fonoti. Add in Goldberg and Hererra off the bench and we have a lot of experience and talent at O-line, if we had McKinnie, hutch, birk, fonoti and marcus as our starters.

One thing is forsure, we need to add at least one big time proven stud O-lineman this off-season.

Also sounds that Moe Williams is going to retire and that the Vikings may choose not to bring back Chavous as well according to speculation on KFAN (PA and Dubay) today.

I agree about adding that one more big time guy.

Rosenthal i wouldn't mind lossing but i've seen Lewinski play great football, his pay is not that high, a bad mistake to let him go IMO.

Whoever the next coach is will probably come in not knowing Chavous personal, in that case not feel sorry for him and give him a job, he'll look at the film and realize its time to upgrade at SS. Its time to get that guy that can knock a helmet off, an extra LB in the box.

It will help or defense alot to get a great SS.
