Marine tries to make NFL

I am sure he is in excelent physical shape and should be able to easily handle the workouts, however I WOULD NOT go so far as to say just because he served this country he deserves to play in the NFL. He should have to earn that spot just like every one else. It should also be mentioned he is a former Marine who spent the last 4 seasons playing for the Longhorns. If he deserves a spot in the NFL he will get it pure and simple not because of what he did as a marine but because of what he does on the field.

I agree. It should be because of his efforts on the field and the efforts for his team. But, myself being a Marine, it would be cool for him to get drafted by the Vikes. I know he's a leader. He could step right in and be a leader on and off the field for the Vikings.
