I want to see Harvin take punts and Asher Allen KR.

Asher was as good of a RB as he was a CB going into the NCAA. In 2007 the last year he handled KR for Georgia he averaged 25 yards a return.

Hands down, I want to see Harvin take over our return dutys.
He's a playmaker, and it's something that he should really stand out doing for us.
Allison would be my second choice.

I'd like to give Reynard (sp?) another chance at some point.

This is getting very scary for me. C Mac D and I, agreeing on a number of topics today....

I definetly want no one else but Harvin, taking on our ST's return man position.
But it was a tough decision for me for the back up. It came down to Allison and Reynard.
Wouldn't suprise me one bit if Reynard passes Allison and takes the #2 spot, behind Harvin.
I wouldn't be suprised at all if Harvin won the Punt Returner job an Reynard was given the duty of Kick Off returns either.
No matter how you look at it, we have upgraded and gotten better at our ST's return game on paper so far.
When all is said and done after camps, Harvin will be the man for KO's and PR's........

He will be very exciting to watch also, I might add.

Just use Aundrae. He had one of the five best return averages in 2007 and then didn't return that much in 08, possibly because of Childress/ ST coach's decision to run it with Maurice Hicks for some reason. Percy might be a good returner as well. AD on the returns we really need to get a TD on.
Allison didn't return kicks very much because he was bad when he did it.
    No burst to the hole.

I think that our two undrafted rookies from Boise State could contribute at kickoffs. Ian Johnson is quick and fast and Vinny Perretta has shown that he can return kicks in college.

Re: Many returners on the team

I have a feeling Harvin will be incorporated too slowly into our offense, so I want him to return kicks to maximize his effective at the moment. My second option is AA. Allison's speed is underrated...he can be a really good returner if he puts his head into it. DR would be my last choice. He can straight out fly. I hope we keep him. Other then these 3, no one else is worthwhile (ugh, Glenn Holt is too slow).
Because I'm a Vikings fan, they are that much sexier.
