I had to alter you're statement to make it better.

Seriously, now I even suck at quoting people.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

    I believe we keep
BB, Rice, Harvin, Wade and Holt. i believe AA, JJ and DR are gone. Although DR is our best returner

After this draft I'm actually getting excited about the training camp battle of returning punts and kicks. (Did I just write that).

At this early stage who do you think will be the returnman when we travel to Ohio in September?

From last year there is Reynaud and Allison, Wade perhaps on punt duty. Add Harvin and Asher Allen to that mix.

If Raynaud makes the team, I still think it's his job to lose for the KR duty. But I think they want Harvey to try to take that role. Remember also on gameday you might want to carry only 4 WRs for some games.
??? Which Harvey did we sign?

Re: Many returners on the team

I wonder if PH will be involved in KR/PR duties.

They did let AD return K's for a spell, however, we don't see that as much last year.
Was that because his reps increased to the point were they didn't want him getting wore out on the long runs or risk getting injured?
    Probably a bit of both.

My guess is that we will see, initially, PH on KRs, but no PR because they are a bit more dangerous.
As he gets more and more reps on offense, I believe, we will see him used less and less on KR's and someone else will be used in that role.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

The coaching staff will be more likely to concentrate on getting Harvin involved in our offense, and won't be chancing injury to our #1 pick. I think Holt will be our primary KR, unless Allison, Reynaud, push for it, and punt returns will be handled by Paymen, Asher Allen, Bobby Wade, and yes even Gordon. The competition we have in camp shows that we are serious about improving our return averages, and overall ST play.

Just use Aundrae. He had one of the five best return averages in 2007 and then didn't return that much in 08, possibly because of Childress/ ST coach's decision to run it with Maurice Hicks for some reason. Percy might be a good returner as well. AD on the returns we really need to get a TD on.

Use Harvin for kicks and let someone else grab punts.

Re: Many returners on the team

I think we should let Allison do both the Kr and Pr.
If Allison is having a bad game, then Harvin is our man.
Except when we need some points in that case AD.
