This is proof that some thoughts should be left as thoughts and not said/typed out loud haha.

All of you that poooh poooohed this missed the bigger picture......

The staff likes to bring in guys that are flexible.
We now have 2 CB's that can play S and a S that can play CB if the situation dictates (injuries, Number of WR's on the field etc).

Try thinking out of the box a bit before you get on a guy.

Braddock my friend, you are wise beyond your years.

What CBs do we have that can (or HAVE) played S in the NFL?

    I count 0.

Oh ME ME, I KNOW I KNOW!!! None of them HAVE played safety in the NFL. SOME of them would probably do OK playing safety though.

    None.

But do you believe it is harder to play CB or S in the NFL?
Truth be told Griffin was actually projected as a S coming out of college.
If memory serves McCauley also played some S in college.

You are correct, niether has played at the NFL level which brings us back to the point I was making, before you took us down a tangent ( ;D), I believe they both have the flexibility to play there if they needed as was mentioned Madieu having the flexibility to play CB.

Why not move Berrian to CB, Griffin to S, then have Williams bulk up and play OLB???
Great idea! I don't know why you're not running the team! I think if Pat loses a few pounds he could play corner and that would open up AD to play his natural position DT.
then we can move tjack to FS, and have tapeh as FB and kleinsasser to RB sharing time with eric frampton
