Looking back at the 2007 draft
If AD would not of been available,(Thank God he was) and knowing what you know now about this years Rookie draft class, who would you of rather had as the Vikings first draft pick?
I had to think about this one so I had to break it down by Offense VS Defense.
Offense: Dwayne Bowe- Nothing against Rice but i think that he has the potential to be a dynamic WR
Defense: Laron landry- I have to admit he was my choice that I really wanted in Purple and thought he would be a great player in our secondary for years to come.

OAK: Russell
DET: Johnson
CLE: Thomas
TB: Adams
AZ: Jones
WAS: Landry
But to answer your question i would have taken Quinn

Offensively, I'd have to agree with Dwayne Bowe, he had a great rookie year, i dont think id take Quinn like others might choose, but thats cuz im still a Tjack believer. If AD would not of been available,(Thank God he was) and knowing what you know now about this years Rookie draft class, who would you of rather had as the Vikings first draft pick?

My draft board for the Vikings during last year's draft was,
1. Calvin Johnson
2. Joe Thomas
3. Adrian Peterson
4. Gaines Adams
5. Laron Landry
6. Dwayne Bowe
7. Reggie Nelson
8. Robert Meachem

Re: Looking back at the 2007 draft
If AP was gone, then we'd assume that Landry was still on the board, and yes i would've taken him, or Patrick Willis, only problem with Willis we have our 3 starters, and we aren't going to a 3-4 defense, and i don't think he'd be good a DE. Also for Defense don't forget about the beast that is Justin Harrell
;D
Offensively i guess i'd have to go with Bowe as well, maybe Lynch, but he wouldn't have been taken because of his "Character Issues"

If AD wasn't available...I would have traded all my picks to acquire AD from the a-holes who grabbed him.

He's listed as DT but Houston when they drafted him said he had the speed to play D-end. So I take him and put him at D-end and at 19 like you said a bright bright future."PurpleHornsOfDestruction" wrote:
