Let's shock the NFL and not draft a DE !

the TE class is then and average, dustin keller and fred davis could be the only ones drafted on the 1st day, i doubt one will go in the 1st round. And the guy from A&M is Martellus Bennett, id like to get him in the 3/4 round

Ha ! My prediction came true already, and we are not even on Draft Day: we got Allen, so we indeed did shock the NFL and won't (I think) draft a DE.

Yeah, lets trade down in the 2nd and get a 3rd rounder, then we can draft Early Doucet at the end of the 2nd.

i still think we need to draft a DE, we are still pretty avg on the dline and i think everyone here would agree with me

I was all for using two draft picks on the DE position this year.
We needed depth at the LDE position and we need a guy that could come in as a situational pass rusher (edge/tweener guy).

Luckily we landed a 6'6" 270 lb monster that can do both.
Good thing about it is that now that we don't have that tweener guy coming in, our D wont be predictable anymore.

When Keneche comes back next year we will even be better as he will the assume the lions share of reps on the LDE side and JA can move back to the rigth side in our base defense.

And who the hell knows what package we will see when we are in situations (3rd and 15) when we have four DE in there.
