    Re: Let's Make A Deal

I liked the shot of Cris Carter doing some trash talkin' with Corey Chavous when he was playing for the Cards...

Yeah, you could tell Chavous was yapping back...I actually listened to that over and over on the Tivo; ya gotta miss Carter! And John Randle had some classic lines too.

I am inclined to trust our new coaches. Whoever they draft is acceptable to me. We can truly afford to take the best player avaible and makes some trades later. I think we are good to start the season. Give our old players a new chance with our new coaches. I think our lbs will be fine with our new coaches.

I agree. There is no sense in making a post in one of the dozens of threads already discussing this topic when you can just start a new thread.

Cutler would do well after sitting a year and learing from Johnson.

I don't want to trade up for them, but I'll contribute my thoughts anyways. I do not want Vince Young, he's the riskiest pick, and he's too much like Culpepper (scrambling QB (may get injured!!!) who may have trouble reading defenses). I like Leinart, I think he's more proven, but there's no way we'll get him. I think Cutler has talent and potential. I think Leinart would be the best fit, but we're for sure in no way going to be able to get him so Cutler.

I agree completely!!! I don't WANT to trade up but if we did i would say Cutler or Leinart!!! Leinart has better potential as being an early starter, but Cutler would be the easier QB to get!!! But again i DON'T want to move up!!!

Personally we need a a Superbowl more than anything we had our share of excitement for one decade.

Cutler hands down, Leinart has some issues that will take a while to develop and some you can't teach...Cutler is said to be overrated but I don't think anyone clearly knows what he's capable of, He was playing in a pro style offense in college.

Young and Leinart were not, Cutler will be better.

one of the reasons people are so high on Leinart is because he did play in a pro style system. USC is renowned for using a pro system, which allows many of their players to make instant impacts in the NFL.
