'Little Ticket' Letroy Guion is making a big impression

Good for him to be getting noticed like that, Guion's got all the potential in the world. With him, Fred Evans, and former 1st round pick Jimmy Kennedy, we've got some solid depth to keep the Williams Wall fresh. Tremaine Johnson will have a hard time fighting for a job this season w/ that much talent behind the starters.

I can honestly say for the first time in years I'm not worried at all about our depth on the Dline. DE is even solid with Robison, Jayme Mitchell, Mike Montgomery and Everson Griffen.

Fair play to him, it is good to hear about these young guys coming in with the right frame of mind and determined to get a spot by working their knackers off.

I agree with above, i have no worries either over our D-Line this year.

Its good to read articles like this to remind you that there are players out there who do more in terms of conditioning, studies etc in order to get on in the game. Helps balance out the stories of tubs of lard such as Haynesworth who finally manage to drag his fat arse through a conditioning test and now can start to practice.
Here's hoping 'Little Ticket' gets to show what he's got.

And player like him are one of the reasons we didnt go after any Big name DTs in the draft also. the vikings are taking a cue from the great teams and drafting talented Youngesters like Guion whose been here 2-3 yrs now and is only 23yrs old so hes has plenty of football left who knows he may replace Fat Pat once he retires.

Glad to hear we have another backup to Kevin. Now all we need to do is find out who is gonna be the 0 technique and take some reps from Phat Pat.

Pooooh Pooooh it away, we don't have anyone on the roster that can/will take Phat Pats place in the scheme.

Of course, you can continue to ignore the difference between what he and Kevin do, but that still won't alleviate the fact we do not have another 0 technique cat on the roster.

Nope, we haven't been through this. You continually dodge the difference between the two positions. Your answer has always been that one of the 3 technique guys will fill the bill, especially JK, who by the way still wants to be a DE.
