    Re: Kipers New Mock!!!

I saw on the NFL network last night that Mayock has him going 10th and us taking Jamal Anderson.

I like Landry but really think the better choice for us is DE again.
Lots of safeties in this draft but not alot of really good DE's.

    My opinion of course
    ;D
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

    Kiper's Latest Mock

    7. Minnesota - LaRon Landry, S, LSU: The Vikings will have an opportunity here to upgrade the defensive secondary. The choice would be between safety Landry and CB Hall. I'll go with Landry because Brad Childress saw what a huge difference Brian Dawkins made to the Eagles' deep patrol when he was on the staff with Andy Reid in Philadelphia.

I happen to agree with Kiper and would be happy to have Landry.
Again, alot depends on our new Def Coordinator's philosophy.
Playing in the Bears "46", I would think he would prefer pressure/hits on the QB.
I happen to think Landry has Ed Reed type of potential.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know

we already drafted 2 first round DE's..we dont need another bust..i want to see the best O player taken whether it be adrian peterson, brady quinn, or trade up to get johnson
Q: At your age, can you handle a full season?
A: I m 37, number one. I took my family to Perkins a couple of days ago, and they didn t hand me a senior citizens discount card, so I feel pretty good.

Brad i couldnt agree with you more we need either Brady Quinn or Leon Hall because Cedric Griffin is slow and our defensive line may not sack people but is not worth a 7th overall pick.

I wouldn't be totally PO'ed if we took Landry...BUT I want OFFENSE first...preferably to trade up for Calvin or trade down to pick up Bowe and Meachem.
If we stay at #7 and Peterson falls to us, we HAVE to take him!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

We need playmakers on offense 'nuff said.
Landry would be a solid pick, but I'm not sold on taking a safety at #7, that is not even close to our top need.

I m like a Ja Rule poster, cause I'm off the wall.
