I think its going to be like this

    1. T-jack
    2. Brooks
    3. Rookie/Nall/Some other vet

So I was saying whoever we bring in is most likely going to be 3rd string and wouldn't make an impact anyway

Oh then we are in agreement on that I think Brooks will still be our #2 QB as well hence my previous post.

K so then I also think I would prefer Simms over Craig Nall for our 3rd spot

Re: KFFL Tidbits 3/15/08 Interest in Nall?

    i dont get this either.
why sign nall to be the 3rd stringer.
basically if you have to resort to your 3rd string qb you are screwed anyway so it's not like we need veteran leadership there.
and as far as him being the primary backup why cut holcomb then.
holcomb has had more experience and sucks i'm sure just as badly.
the objective is to improve the qb position as a whole and nall doesn't make much sense to me.
if they trade for a rosenfels or losman and then drafted a young qb to be the 3rd and let bollinger walk, okay that makes some sense.
but we'd basically be repeating the same bad situation we had last year if we go into camp with nall, bollinger, and jackson.

    now self destruction" that's enlightenment

As much as I hate guys that come on here and say the Vikes should pick a guy from thier local or favorite college, I am gonna be a bit of a Homer and keep singing this guys praises.

Thanks, now that he's paid a visit I'm putting him back in my mock.

Lets hope he signs with the Texans.
That might be an idicator that Sage could still be had.

As to all the other speculations (to include BB is some sort of Chiller guy who won't get cut) I believe that this staff wants to get rid of not only KH but BB.
Now that KH is gone, they just need to find the right guy (ie Sage) to jettison BB.

Again, I believe our QB's will look like this going into OTA's.....

    TJ
    BB
    (Vet)
    Rookie

TJ will be the starter, BB and Vet will compete for backup spot and the rookie will make the team because of what happened to Thygpen last year with an eventual roster of....

    TJ
    VET
    Rookie

With only two quarterbacks on the roster, the Vikings have shown an interest in a veteran free agent. See what his agent had to say about the seriousness of the discussions and what other teams are in the mix.....
