Well I know this guy who's dad works for the Vikings, I saw him today in one of my classes and asked him what's going on with free agency and stuff, here's what he said...

Winter Park is extremely tight-lipped now, unlike with Tice. In fact, they had curtains set up in places to keep people not 'in the know' away from the decision makers. The guys dad doesn't even know who they're going after. However, apparently it isn't Childress who's leading the charge against Culpepper, it's actually Foley. Childress isn't in love with him either, but I guess he doesn't hate him as much as Foley. Also, we're really interested in Brees.

In light of Pep's new email (we didnt know about it at the time we spoke) I really think he's gonna be gone and we're gonna make a serious run at Brees.

I could totally see that happening. Also, if we dump Pep and sign Brees, look for us to also sign Edge to give Brees a running game like the one that he had in San Diego with Tomlinson (who I would LOVE to have!!!).

defintily brees and i think deangalo williams woul be the best bet if we couldnt get the edge meister.

I may be eating crow after all now, the other night I swore up and down, Brees would never come here this year.

I'm not positive that having Brees and the Edge on the same team is the answer.

We still have ego's and team chemistry to work with.

Me personally, as long as Dante is gone I'm happy with whoever we get. Brad is gonna need some help...
