I can honestly say that out of ALL the responses i expected to receive from my post, someone quoting an entire Vanessa Williams song has caught me by surprise the most.

we have a problem at WR?

yeah all of our WR's are average at best. Burelson looked like he could step up but he just fell down. Travis Taylor looke pretty good in a few games but then he disappeared. Marcus Robinson is great in the Red Zone and for an occasional nice catch. Troy Williamson fast yes but is a #7 pick and got beat out by Travis Taylor. Williamson showed som flash at times but not enough to impress me. Koren Robinson is an excellent kick returner and he looked the best of all our WR's. He made some good catches but not enough to be considered a #1 WR. We need to keep him in a Vikings Uniform.

how about this, why don't we grab nalen from denver if they do get rid of him like it has been rumored, then trade birk and his injuries off to someone else?

Need more Opinions? Mike Tice, he has faced alot of critisicm from alot of his fans, including me, but someone has to cut him some slack. I mean, we DID finish 9-7, after starting off 2-5. Yea sure give Brad Johsnon all tha props right? Give Tice just a leetle credit for that spurt. And if you dont wanna give him no credit for that you at least gotta give the man his due, because without Tice, there would be no Antione Winfield. That was Tices call and he got the deal done. No Winfield=NO HOPE on defense. Wouldnt that suck?

One more thing, i dont know who we should get in the draft, but its not that Lawrence Maroney guy. Its Chad Jackson. If someone else doesnt have him by the time we get to go up, he would be a steal. There are too many Running Backs in the NFL that are available to us to waste a firstround draft pick on a rookie back especially when we got a shot at guys like Edgerrin James. But as far as WRs go, our third best reciever had 3 Tds. ALL in one game. Our first best WR is a TE. And our best overall talent in WR, (Troy Williamson) has aways to go before he becomes truly productive on this team. We have a horrible class of WRs, but i believe that Jermain Wiggins, Edgerrin James, Troy Williamson, Koren Robinson and Chad Jackson would give Daunte Culpepper (OR Brad Johnson, who knows) a lot more flexibilty as far as passing options go. Mattafact that would be one very very good recieving core.

Im pretty sure that most of these opinions have been posted before, but ultravikingsfan called me out so i had to post somethin, nah mean? Yea, i tihnk thats about it....

Oh wait no its not i also would like to say that if we DONT get Edgerrin James we should DEFINITELY pursue Deshaun Foster, that boy can RUN.

ya thax Itrey33. i am just gunna say for this..WE NEED MORE OPTIONS.. other than RB i say we need a LB well a high quality 1......e.j. is a strong speed lb but i dont know about his duriblity..i like dontarious thomas..e is the upcoming star of our linebacking crue...he is big and powerful..he reminds me of a ray lewis..try him at MLB see wat he can do..its worth a try

I'd have to say RB if we don't get Shaun or Edge in FA. We can get a good RT in the later rounds of the draft and there are good LB in FA (i.e Witherspoon). maybe we can make a trade to a earlier pick and still keep our 17th and use the earlier one for a LB and use the later one for maybe a RB!! I think Daunte, if he seems in a reasonable state, can get us a 1st round draft pick!!

i say we stay away from edge..lets get shaun or we draft moroney...edge is gunna be done anyway in 5-7 year get moroney have him for the franchise type of player for about 13 years...good idea ppeaters89 get like a witherspoon or a julian peterson...we could draft elsinger in the late 2 round i think that would be a steal..i think eslinger has the same potentiol as dibrickshaw fergeson but thats just me...i wanna se him in purple and gold that would be awsume...him and moroney puple and gold.
